BOAT CARRYING ILLEGAL MIGRANTS SINKS IN IZMIR
IZMIR - Body of one illegal migrant was found after a boat (which was carrying illegal migrants) sank off Sigacik in Seferihisar town of western city of Izmir, Seferihisar Subgovernor Orhan Guldibi told A.A on Sunday.
Guldibi added that they have also captured 4 more illegal migrants who escaped after the boat sank.
Guldibi noted that they have captured 21 illegal migrants (of Somalian and Palestinian origin) so far, adding that the exact number of illegal migrants in the boat is not clear yet.
He added that the illegal migrants were trying to sneak into Greece.
