BATMAN - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Friday that the government would construct 200 new houses in southeastern city of Batman, which was hit by floods.
Addressing the inhabitants of Batman, Erdogan said, "we hope to complete construction of the houses in 8 months time," and noted that "it is our duty to serve our citizens."
Erdogan stated that winter was coming and that they have sent 22 tones of coal to Batman. He said those who were in need of coal could get it from the governor`s office.
