BINGOL - Turkish gendarmery forces killed six terrorists in an operation in eastern city of Bingol, governor`s office announced today.
According a statement by the governor`s office, gendarmery forces clashed with a group of terrorists in the rural area of Bingol`s Yayladere town.
Six terrorists were killed in the operation, while weapons and rounds of ammunition were seized.
Meanwhile, one soldier lost his life, and another was wounded in the operation that continue for two days.
The injured soldier is in stable condition, said authorities, adding that operations are under way in the region.
