ANKARA - Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki qualified his visit to Turkey and his talks with Turkish executives as successful, fruitful and satisfactory.
Before flying back to his country on Friday, al-Maliki told reporters that Turkish authorities and he have reached a compromise on a number of agreements, and noted that implementation of these agreements will enhance bilateral relations.
Al-Maliki stated that Turkey is one of the neighboring countries which make a positive contribution to political structuring in Iraq, adding that Turkish executives have promised to maintain their support.
