ANKARA - Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul said on Tuesday that it has emerged that there was a link in the Istanbul suicide attacks with an organization in Afghanistan in terms of belief and understanding.
Upon a question regarding bomb attacks in Istanbul prior to his departure for Sweden for an official visit at Ankara's Esenboga Airport, Gul said that the current information was taken after the studies of Istanbul Security.
Gul said that they were expecting the results of DNA tests for a hundred percent certainty and added that the results could be taken today.
Gul said that it has emerged that there was a link with an organization in Afghanistan in terms of belief and understanding.
