ISTANBUL - Israeli Parliament Speaker Reouven Rivlin visited on Tuesday the two synagogues which were attacked in Istanbul last Saturday.
Rivlin firstly visited Neve Shalom Synagogue and told reporters that terrorists were believed to have come from Iran. Rivlin stressed that the bomb attacks in Istanbul had to be perceived as international terrorism and that the fight against it had to be carried out in the international field.
Rivlin later visited Beth Israel Synagogue in Sisli district.
Israeli Ambassador to Turkey Pinhas Avivi accompanied Rivlin during his visits.
