Erdogan Talks With British Prime Minister Blair On Phone

ANKARA - Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke to British Prime Minister Tony Blair by phone on Monday.
Blair expressed his sorrow over the terrorist attacks launched in Istanbul on Saturday.
Prime Ministry Press Center released a written statement and said that Blair called Erdogan and offered his condolences over the terrorist attacks.
Erdogan confirmed Turkey's determination in fight against international terrorism and stressed that terrorism could be overcome only by an active cooperation on international field.
Erdogan also thanked Blair for the strong support of Britain in Turkey's accession process to the European Union (EU).
Erdogan repeated his invitation to Blair for a visit to Turkey during the phone conversation.
