ANKARA - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan welcomed Iraq's Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki at a formal ceremony in the Prime Ministry building in Ankara on Thursday.
Erdogan and Al-Maliki are expected to hold a joint news conference after tete-a-tete talk and meetings between the delegations of the two countries.
Recent situation in Iraq, fight against terrorist PKK organization and Kirkuk are expected to be discussed during the meetings.
Meanwhile, Turkish Foreign Minister & Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul met Iraq's Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari in Ankara.
