Las Vegas - It seems that the principled Hollywood couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt won't get married - even in wax.
Objections from the actor's representative persuaded the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Las Vegas to cancel plans to unveil an elaborate wedding scene of the Hollywood glamour couple.
The wax artists had planned to make George Clooney best man, and Elvis, Frank Sinatra, Luciano Pavarotti, Liberace, John Wayne, Ben Affleck and gangster Bugsy Siegel among the guests.
According to the Las Vegas Review Journal Tuesday, Pitt's representative objected to the plan calling it "disturbing" and the museum called off the event.
"Since Madame Tussauds enjoys excellent relationships with the celebrity community, we made our own decision not to create the wedding scene," Adrian Jones, general manager of Madame Tussauds Las Vegas, said in a statement.
Pitt, who is currently with Jolie in India, was reportedly unaware of the incident. Pitt and Jolie have been together for about two years and have one biological child and two adopted children.
He revealed last month that he and Jolie would not wed that way until gays also had the right to wed.
"Angie and I will consider tying the knot when everyone else in the country who wants to be married is legally able," he told Esquire Magazine.
