Riyadh - A Pakistani and a Chadian national were beheaded publicly in Saudi Arabia Tuesday.
The Pakistani offender had been convicted of murdering another Pakistani by repeatedly hitting the victim on the head with a large rock, said an Interior Ministry statement.
The Chadian convict was caught smuggling cocaine into the kingdom.
Since January 2006, the death penalty has been handed down to 23 people.
Saudi Arabian courts usually mete out death penalties in cases of murder, rape, drug smuggling and armed offences such as burglary and terrorist attacks.
