ISTANBUL - Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Sunday that efforts against the terrorist attacks against two synagogues in Sisli and Beyoglu continued sensitively, adding, ''measures will be taken after searching for its source''.
Erdogan spoke to reporters after his visit to Neve Shalom Synagogue in Beyoglu.
Stating that security teams carried out studies carefully, Erdogan said damage assessment would be made on Monday. He said, ''as the government, we will do what is necessary for the citizens here.''
Erdogan said, ''terrorism had an international dimension in the world. A joint international fight against terrorism platform is needed. No country in the world managed to eradicate terrorism. Minimizing it is our first and most important target.''
Erdogan said he will visit synagogue in Sisli district and those injured having treatment in Sisli Etfal and American Hospitals.
When asked about those responsible for the attack, Erdogan said there was nothing definite at the moment.
