LEFKOSA - U.S. President George Bush called Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan by phone on Saturday regarding the explosions in Istanbul.
Bush conveyed the sorrow he felt over the attacks, and expressed his condolences over the attacks.
Erdogan said they condemned every kind of terrorism, and that both Muslim and Jewish citizens died in the attack. He said ugly face of terrorism was revealed once again.
Erdogan said such kind of attacks will never prevent fight against terrorism.
Bush said he and U.S. people supported Turkey in its fight against terrorism, stressing that they appreciated Turkey due to its courage and fight against terrorism.
