Two terrorists were in a preparation to stage a bomb attack on official buildings, police stations and gendarme headquarters and military facilities.
Police confiscated 3.2 kilograms of C-4 explosives and materials used in hand grenade and bomb production in the operation.

Izmir Governor Yusuf Ziya Goksu said on Saturday that the operation staged in Aegean Izmir province to capture two terrorist had nothing to do with bomb attacks in Istanbul.
An operation was staged in Izmir to capture two members of the terrorist organization PKK/KADEK. Police confiscated 3.2 kilograms of C-4 explosives and materials used in hand grenade and bomb production, and organizational documents in the operation.
The two detainees told police that they were members of the terrorist organization PKK/KADEK and came to Izmir after being trained on bombs in Iraq.
Security officials said that the two detainees planned to stage bomb attacks against official buildings, police stations and gendarme headquarters and military facilities.
Izmir Governor Goksu said that the operation in Izmir did nothing to do with Saturday's bomb attacks in Istanbul.
Stating that bombs confiscated in the operation were to be used in some attacks in Turkey, Goksu expressed pleasure to prevent such big attacks.
