ISTANBUL - Cars loaded with bombs are thought to cause the explosions in Istanbul on Saturday.
A high ranking security official told A.A correspondent that they thought cars loaded with bombs caused the explosions near two synagogues on Kuledibi Street and in Sisli district.
The same official said expert teams continued their investigations, stressing the efforts were underway to determine the type of explosives.
Meanwhile, a person called Anadolu Agency Istanbul Regional Directorate and said terrorist IBDA/C organization claimed responsibility for the attack.
The person said attacks would continue in the future, and said the attacks were staged ''to prevent the pressure put on Muslims''.
