LEFKOSA - "Finland's proposals have no chance of applicability. They have been developed in a wrong procedure," said Mehmet Ali Talat, President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
Talat also noted that Finnish proposals have no chance to go forward in a TV program on BRT.
Saying that the EU acts with some concerns regarding Greek Cypriots, Talat called on the EU to force Greek Cypriots to go with the UN solution.
Reiterating that they are for the lifting of the international isolation on TRNC, Talat said "Abolition of the isolation is not enough for us. We do not aim to be like Taiwan. We want to be recognized by the world as an equal part and partner."
Talat also stated that he will have another meeting with UN Secretary General Kofi Annan in a short time.
