ISTANBUL - UEFA's 4th Medical Symposium will be held in Istanbul between November 28th-30th with the participation of UEFA President Lennart Johansson.
Medical teams of giant football clubs like Chelsea and Manchester United of England, Bayern Munich of Germany and Barcelona and Real Madrid of Spain will also participate in the event.
New medical criteria for football will be designated during the 3-day symposium and medical problems grew out of football are planned to be discussed.
Analysis of injuries during matches, specific research results concerning football, updates about doping issue, proposals towards the future of UEFA execution, dialogue between federations and clubs are among the objectives of the symposium.
