BRUSSELS - Gentz Court of Appeals in Belgium revealed its reasoned verdict about members of the illegal Revolutionary People's Liberation Party-Front (DHKP-C) on Tuesday.
In its 250-page reasoned verdict, the court described the DHKP-C as a terrorist organization and criminal gang.
The court sentenced Dursun Karatas and Musa Asoglu to seven years in prison, Bahar Kimyongur to five years in prison, and Kaya Saz, Fehriye Erdal, Zerrin Sari and Sukruye Akar Ozordulu to four years in prison and to pay various fines.
After the court announced its reasoned verdict, the Prosecutor's Office requested arrest of all suspects.
Kimyongur, spokesperson for the terrorist organization who has been tried without detention, is expected to be arrested.
Meanwhile, tension escalated in the court hall.
The court delegation is expected to continue hearing the case after the tension is eased.
