ANKARA - Turkey's current account deficit which was 360 million USD in September 2005 rose to 1.9 billion USD in September 2006, according to Central Bank's report on balance of payments for January-September 2006 period.
On the other hand, current account deficit grew 59.6 percent to 25.3 billion USD in January-September period of 2006.
Current account deficit was 15.8 billion USD in January-September period of 2005.
