LONDON - "Technology, quality and sustainability are the key factors of tourist industry," said Turkish Culture & Tourism Minister Atilla Koc.
Koc hosted a dinner in honor of tour operators and representatives of tourist agencies in British capital of London.
Making a keynote speech before the dinner, Koc indicated that Britain, the third biggest market in the world, is utterly important for Turkey and recalled that 1.8 million Britons visited Turkey in 2005.
Koc said he expected to reach the same figure this year also.
Minister Koc, who participated in the inaugural ceremony of the World Tourism Fair in London, will return to Turkey this afternoon.
