SEMDINLI - Body of one of the three missing people has been found after the floods, triggered by last weekend's torrential rains in Semdinli town of southeastern city of Hakkari.
Sevket Erenler was among the three people who were reported missing after the flood in Semdinli, and his body was found by authorities today, sources said.
Erenler's body was taken to the state hospital in the town for an autopsy.
Four people were injured in the floods that began in Semdinli on Sunday afternoon. Families who were affected by the flood were settled in two schools, the state hospital and Teachers' Club and were served hot meal by the army and boarding school management.
Power lines were damaged and some roads were closed to traffic.
150 houses were demolished, and 150 others were evacuated after the floods which also forced schools to close in Semdinli, for two days.
