KONYA - "The final statement of the Tenth World Conference of Historical Cities announced that the Eleventh World Conference of Historical Cities will be held in central Turkish city of Konya in 2008," said Tahir Akyurek, Mayor of Konya, today.
The 10th World Conference of Historical Cities was held in Australia's city of Ballarat between October 29th-November 1st, 2006.
The Municipality of Konya will assign a team of experts to prepare the city for the 11th World Conference of Historical Cities.
