BERLIN - One person was killed and nine others injured Monday in a bus crash in southwestern Germany that authorities said likely involved US citizens.
The accident occurred near Hohenfels, where the US military has a training center. The bus was a standard passenger coach.
A police spokesman said in an initial statement that the victims were believed to be Americans but that the passengers were still being identified.
The bus slid from the road and flipped on its side for reasons police said were still unclear.
