U.S. Ambassador To Turkey Edelman Meets With Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Ziyal

ANKARA - U.S. Ambassador to Turkey Eric Edelman met on Thursday with Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Ugur Ziyal.
Edelman and Ziyal took up developments in Iraq and Turkey-U.S. relations during the meeting.
Edelman informed Ziyal regarding the incident between PKK/KADEK terrorist organization in the north of Iraq and U.S. forces and peshmergas.
Sources said that it was not a planned operation, but an armed clash and added that Edelman said that there was not an exchange of captives.
Edelman conveyed the view of Washington that they would continue to consider PKK/KADEK as a terrorist organization no matter it had changed its name.
