SANTIAGO - Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Deniz Baykal will cut short his visit to Chile and return to Turkey today due to demise of former Prime Minister Bulent Ecevit.
Baykal will attend the inaugural session of the Socialist International and then depart from Santiago at 5.30 p.m. today.
Baykal will arrive in Turkey tomorrow.
It's not yet known when the funerals of former PM Ecevit would take place.
