ANKARA - Current account deficit in 2007 is predicted to drop 1 percent to 30.4 billion USD, according to figures of "Program of 2007".
Also deficit in investment income balance is envisioned as 7 billion USD.
Ratio of current account deficit to gross national product (GNP) which is estimated as 7.9 percent in 2006 will drop to 7.4 percent in 2007.
Export figures of 2007 is targeted to increase 13.8 percent to 95 billion USD, while import is predicted to increase 10.5 percent to 149.7 billion USD. Thus, foreign trade deficit will be 54.7 billion USD in 2007.
Meanwhile, foreign trade balance is estimated to be 40.8 billion USD in 2007.
Tourism income is predicted to increase 9.2 percent and reach 19.8 billion USD in 2007.
