Interior ministers from Southeast European nations wrapped up their second informal gathering in Belek by signing a joint declaration outlining shared security priorities.

The declaration condemned terrorism as a threat to regional and international peace, democratic institutions, economic progress, and the territorial integrity of member states. Ministers stressed the need for coordinated, sustained action to counter both terrorism and organized crime.

The group agreed that security cooperation is the most effective means of maintaining regional stability. They also resolved to convene these ministerial meetings twice annually.
