ANTALYA - The Seventh Antalya Piano Festival was opened tonight with a concert by Turkish eminent pianist Fazil Say and violin virtuoso Patricia Kopatchinskaja.
At the beginning of the concert, Say played his composition "Patara", the piece he composed upon the 250th anniversary of Mozart`s birthday. Then, Say and Kopatchinskaja gave a concert that lasted about one and a half hours.
The festival is sponsored by Antalya Municipality and Antalya Culture & Arts Foundation in association with Kadir Dursun Production.
On the second day of the festival, young talents` concerts will be held in which Valery Goldes, Buket Kartal, Beste Aydin and Bayram Karamenderes will play their classical works.
The festival will end with a concert by Miriam Mendez on November 25th.
