ISTANBUL - "We lifted the obstacles before investments in the last four years, and we are trying to show Turkey`s big potential," said Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Receiving U.S. businessmen in Istanbul, Erdogan said that Turkey was ranked the seventh among the emerging markets in the world in 2005, following China, Hong Kong, Russia, Singapore, Brazil and Mexico.
Erdogan noted that investment incentive office has been set up under a new law.
"Foreigners who want to invest in Turkey will just apply to this office. A person will be designated to deal with this investor. We aim to facilitate things, and draw investments," he added.
