DE MARTINO PUBLICIZES HIS BOOK "HITTITES"

ANKARA - Prof. Stefano De Martino, a lecturer of the Italian Trieste University, publicized his book "Hittites" which was translated into Turkish.
Taking the floor at a meeting for the promotion of the book at Anatolian Civilizations Museum in Ankara, Martino expressed pleasure over being in the museum which he described as "the place which he can say the place of worship of the Hittites".
Martino said Hittites, which was one of the strongest and advanced civilizations of Anatolia, gave shape to the following civilizations with their state structure, military, and social organizations.
Stating that for long years he had joined the excavations about the Hittites, Martino said he collated archeological, mythologic, theological datum in his book.
