ANKARA - Consumer prices index (TUFE) was up by 1.27 percent and producer prices index (UFE) by 0.45 percent in October 2006.
Annual inflation as of October 2006 was 9.98 percent in consumer prices and 10.94 percent in producer prices, stated Turkish Board of Statistics (TUIK) on Friday.
Meanwhile, price increase in the first 10 months of 2006 was 8.01 percent in consumer prices and 12.04 percent in producers prices.
According to 12-month average as of October, inflation rate became 9.25 percent in consumer prices and 7.76 percent in producers prices.
