8 PEOPLE REPORTED MISSING

ANKARA - 39 people were killed and 15 others were injured in floods that occurred throughout the country in the past few days, sources said on Friday.
It was also reported that 8 people were still missing after floods triggered by torrential rains since Tuesday (October 31st).
The death toll was earlier announced as 38 and the number of those injured was 15 in floods in southeastern cities of Diyarbakir, Mardin, Sirnak, Sanliurfa, Batman and southern city of Mersin. Number of missing people was earlier announced as 7.
According to the recent reports, death toll climbed to 39 and number of missing rose to 8.
On the other hand, the Directorate General indicated that 3,075 blankets, 200 tents, 3 mobile kitchens, 150 beds, 100 camping beds, and free food have been sent to those who have been affected by floods.
Meanwhile, floods damaged 988 dwellings in the region.
