ANKARA - The Second Congress of the ruling Justice & Development Party (AKP) will be held in Ankara on November 11th.
Nearly 1460 delegates will cast their votes to elect the leader and new members of the Central Executive Board.
Meanwhile, 14 TV channels, as well as more than 400 reporters, photojournalists and cameramen were accredited to cover the congress.
A number of foreign guests and representatives of several political parties and non-governmental organization will also attend the congress.
The AKP was founded on August 14th, 2001 as the 39th political party of Turkey. It came to the power after winning the general elections held on November 3rd, 2002.
