Mumcu: Number Of Tourists Visiting Turkey To Be 20 Million In The Coming Three Years

LONDON - Culture and Tourism Minister Erkan Mumcu said on Tuesday that number of tourists visiting Turkey would be around 20 million in the coming three years.
Mumcu, currently in London to participate in World Tourism Fair, said Turkey had allocated some of the loans, which were provided in the past through Development Bank, to tourism, stressing that this should continue.
Mumcu said they were getting prepared to put into practice a new investment plan, noting that, ''the most advanced countries of the world will appreciate this investment.''
Stating that number of tourists visiting Turkey was around 14 million today, Mumcu said this figure would increase to 14 million in the coming three years. He said Turkey's tourism income would be around 30 billion U.S. dollars as of 2010.
