KONYA - The 24-member Slovenian trade delegation which came to central Konya province by the invitation of Konya Industry Chamber (KSO) and Foreign Economic Relations Council (DEIK), met with industrialists and got information about the industry of Konya.
Tanja Rupnik, the director of Slovenian Trade and Industry Chamber's International Cooperation department said in the meeting with businessmen of Konya that the delegation also met with businessmen in Ankara and Bursa.
Rupnik stated that their visit would prepare the basis of formation of productive commercial unions in the future, adding that they were aware of the importance of Konya in respect of industry and commerce.
Noting that the trade volume between Turkey and Slovenia was expected to reach 200 million dollars at the end of the year, Rupnik stated that they targeted to reach higher figures in the future. Rupnik stated that Konya would play an important role in that regard, adding that new opportunities would come out in commerce due to cooperation.
