ECEABAT - A ceremony was held in Anzak Bay in Gelibolu Peninsula of western Canakkale province to mark the ''Remembrance Day'' on Tuesday.
A group comprised of 30 people from Australia, New Zealand and Britain attended the ceremony in Anzak Bay.
The group accepts 11th day of the 11th month of 1918, when the World War I ended, as Remembrance Day.
After throwing carnations on the sea, the group visited graves of their ancestors.
The ceremony ended as Anzac cookie was distributed to the participants and as participants decided to meet at the same place on the same day of the following year.
