ANKARA - Treasury Undersecretariat and World Bank signed on Tuesday an agreement of 534.2 U.S. dollars in grants for preparation for Public Sector and Social Security Reform Adjustment Loan (PPSAL) and technical support foreseen to be provided from the Bank.
A statement of the Treasury Undersecretariat said that the agreement that was signed by officials of the Treasury and World Bank and entered into force would provide 534 thousand 200 U.S. dollars from Japanese government through the Bank.
The statement noted that the grant would be used by Labor and Social Security Ministry.
''The grant will extend technical support to development of social security policy, increase of technical capacity of retirement models, determination of health insurance parameters, search of possible effects of mentioned reforms on labor force market and development of institutional capacity of social security institutions,'' the statement added.
