JERUSALEM - Israel`s parliament voted ultra-nationalist party leader Avigdor Lieberman into government late Monday, sealing the entry of the firebrand into the governing coalition.
The Knesset voted 61 to 38 to admit the chief of the far-right Yisrael Beitenu party into the government following cabinet approval earlier in the day.
Lieberman was sworn in as the nation`s first ever minister for strategic affairs immediately after the vote.
