ANKARA - Turkey was ranked the eighth among the countries having the highest amount of tourism incomes.
According to the World Tourism Organization (WTO) data, Turkey's tourism income rose 14.2 percent from 15.9 billion USD in 2004 to 18.2 billion USD in 2005.
The United States came on the first place in the list with an annual tourism income of 81.7 billion USD.
