Greek Cypriot-flagged Cargo Ship Runs Aground In Canakkale Strait

CANAKKALE - Greek Cypriot-flagged cargo ship ''Mana'' ran aground in Canakkale Strait on Monday.
The ship which was carrying 23,500 tons of sugar from Pireus port of Greece to Odesa Port of Ukraine, ran aground in Zircirlibozan region, which is at the exit of Canakkale Strait.
Officials said that the captain of the ship didn't ask for help and that the crew tried to save the ship by their own capabilities.
