Red Crescent's Third Humanitarian Aid Convoy Due To Iraq

ANKARA - Red Crescent's third humanitarian aid convoy composed of four TIRs departed for Iraq on Sunday.
Red Crescent Director General Ertan Gonen said that upon the request of Iraqi Health Ministry and Red Crescent, they sent five thousand blankets, two thousand mattresses, 500 stoves, 500 hygienic sets and 500 food packages for Iraqi families.
Gonen said that the material in the convoy, which is composed of four TIRs, one communication equipment and 14 personnel, would be distributed in the regions determined by Iraqi Red Crescent. He added that Red Crescent would sent two more humanitarian aid convoys to Iraq later.
