ANKARA - The budget deficit was 1 billion 385 million YTL in the first nine months of 2006 (one dollar equals 1.50 YTL).
According to the budget application results of the Turkish Finance Ministry, the primary surplus was 36 billion 242 million YTL in the same period.
Budgetary expenditures were 128 billion 39 million YTL, while budgetary revenues were 129 billion 423 million YTL in the January-September 2006 period.
Authorities collected 102 billion 6 million YTL of tax in the first nine months of this year.
