ANKARA - Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul conveyed Turkey's expectation of a concrete step in fight against terrorist organization PKK during his meeting with U.S. special representative for countering terrorism retired general Joseph Ralston in Ankara on Thursday.
Diplomatic sources said that Gul reiterated that Turkish people never accept acts of terrorist organization in the north of Iraq. He said that Turkey will continue to support Iraqi people in every aspect, and if PKK problem is solved, this support will increase.
On the other hand, Ralston said that they will exert efforts to obtain more concrete results as soon as possible.
Noting that he met all officials in his recent visit to Iraq, Ralston said that they are exerting efforts regarding Mahmur camp, and this issue is very important.
Ralston completed his meetings in Ankara.
