Security Forces Impound 75.5. Kg Of Heroin Having A Market Value Of $3 Million

ANTAKYA - Security forces impounded on Friday 75.5 kg of heroin in an operation at Cilvegozu Border Gate in Reyhanli town of southern province of Hatay having a market value of nearly 3 million U.S. dollars.
Acting on a tip-off, security forces stopped and searched a vehicle which was on its way to Jordan.
During the search, 75.5 kg of heroin was confiscated.
Six people were detained in the operation.
Sources said that the drug had a market value of nearly 3 million U.S. dollars.
A full investigation into illicit drug trafficking is under way.
