ANKARA - Turkish Supreme Board of Radio & Television has chosen Anatolia News Agency (A.A) DG Hilmi Bengi, A.A Deputy DG Tahsin Akti and Deputy undersecretary of Prime Minister's Office Ruhi Ozbilgic as prospective candidates to be named new director general of state-run Turkish Radio and Television (TRT).
The names of the candidates will be submitted to the Prime Minister's Office.
Later on, Council of Ministers will determine the new director general of the TRT among the candidates and would submit his name to President Ahmet Necdet Sezer for approval.
The name of the new TRT Director General will be made public after the approval of President Sezer.
