ANKARA - World Bank will provide 4.5 billion U.S. dollars project loan to Turkey within Country Assistance Strategy-CAS program.
Treasury Undersecretariat issued a statement on Friday on financial and technical support program which Turkey would provide from the World Bank between July 1, 2003 and June 2006.
The statement said the CAS report, which was prepared by taking into consideration the developments in Turkish economy, was approved by World Bank Executive Board yesterday.
The statement said 4.5 billion U.S. dollars program and project loan would be provided from World Bank in this period depending on implementation of reform program in the way that was envisaged.
