ANKARA - Independent political candidates running for MP positions will be able to place their names on the election ballot.
A draft law on independent candidates has been approved by the Turkish parliament's Constitutional Commission on Tuesday.
Referring to the new adjustment, Turkish State Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Ali Sahin indicated that placing the names of independent candidates on election ballot would make the candidates' job easier.
