BEIRUT - "Turkey has been one of the biggest aid extenders with 15 million USD of humanitarian aid to Lebanon. It has positive effects on Lebanese perspective towards Turkey," Turkish Ambassador to Lebanon Irfan Acar said on Tuesday.
Acar told the A.A correspondent that the Lebanese government wants no more humanitarian aid.
"Upon their requests, we are working on sending several prefabricated houses. The quantity of such housing units will be around 500-600. Besides, we are planning to send also several prefabritaced school buildings," Acar said.
Indicating that Turkey was one of the first countries providing aid to Lebanon, Acar said, "we can observe positive changes in Lebanese perspective towards Turkey," the ambassador said.
Upon a question regarding Turkish soldiers' deployment in Lebanon, Acar said, "our activities are continuing about this subject. It will become clear in the coming days."
