ANKARA - Turkish State Minister & Chief Negotiator for EU talks Ali Babacan received IMF delegation led by Turkey Desk Chief Lorenzo Giorgianni last night in Ankara.
Officials assessed stand-by deal in the meeting which was also attended by Turkish Treasury Undersecretary Ibrahim Canakci.
IMF delegation also held a meeting with officials of Turkish Exporters' Assembly (TIM) in Istanbul yesterday.
IMF plans to complete its "pre-assessment" discussions in Turkey till October 20th, 2006.
