ANKARA - Turkish MFA has condemned North Korea's nuclear weapon test conducted on Monday morning.
"Today's test will not help efforts on nuclear non-proliferation," reads a statement of the Turkish MFA.
"We have learned, with deep concern, a nuclear test conducted by the Korean Democratic People's Republic this morning. We strongly condemn this act of North Korea, despite a United Nations Security Council request made on October 5th to North Korea not to try a nuclear test as this test would jeopardize peace, stability and security in the region," indicated the MFA statement.
