PARIS - Turkish pharmacist Buket Aksu was elected a member of the Executive Board of the European Federation for Pharmaceutical Sciences (EUFEPS).
Aksu, candidate of Turkish Pharmaceutical Technology Researchers Association (TUFTAD), was elected in a meeting in Copenhagen by winning more votes than French and Italian candidates.
With election of Aksu, for the first time a Turkish woman who is also a representative of a Turkish national pharmaceutical institution has joined the administration of EUFEPS.
